1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing content, subscribing to services, donating, uploading comments or reactions, or participating in forums or live chats, you confirm that:

• You are at least 13 years old.
• You have the legal capacity to enter this agreement.
• If under 18, you have parental or guardian consent.
• If you are under 18, your parent or legal guardian agrees to be bound by these Terms on your behalf.

2. Nature of the Platform

EDEN is a private, faith-based streaming and entertainment platform that curates audiovisual and audio content aligned with its Christian values.

The Platform’s doctrinal framework is guided by teachings consistent with the Word of Faith tradition and the curriculum of the Word of Faith Bible Institute (WOFBI).

EDEN reserves full editorial discretion to determine theological alignment and content suitability.

3. Eligibility & Age Requirements

• Minimum age: 13 years.
• Users under 18 require parental consent.
• Minors may not receive donations.
• Minors may not open creator channels without guardian consent.

We reserve the right to request age verification at any time.

4. User Accounts

Users must:

• Register using email and password or approved OAuth providers.
• Provide accurate information.
• Maintain account confidentiality.
• One account per user. Multiple profiles are not permitted.

You are responsible for all activity under your account.

5. Subscriptions & Billing

5.1 Subscription Structure

• Annual billing cycle only.
• Subscriptions automatically renew.
• Pricing may vary by country.
• Payment processing is handled by Monnify and other authorized gateways.

5.2 No Refund Policy

All subscription payments are final. No refunds, prorated refunds, or cooling-off periods are provided.

5.3 Failed Payments

We may suspend or terminate access for failed or reversed payments.

5.4 Pricing Changes

We may change subscription pricing at any time. Changes apply at renewal.

6. Donations

EDEN allows one-time or recurring donations to creators and donations to the Platform.

• Donations are non-refundable.
• EDEN does not take a percentage of donations made to creators.
• EDEN is not responsible for how creators use donated funds.
• Donations do not create ownership, equity, or governance rights.

7. Advertising & Personalization

EDEN may display advertisements, use programmatic advertising exchanges, and use anonymized, aggregated analytics for advertising. Users may opt out of personalized ads.

We comply with GDPR (EU users) and CCPA (California users). Additional details are in our Privacy Policy.

8. Content Access & License

All content is licensed, not sold. Users receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to stream content for personal, non-commercial use.

Offline downloads are encrypted, remain within the app, and expire upon account termination. External downloading is prohibited.

9. Live Streaming

EDEN may monitor live streams in real time, cut or terminate streams immediately, archive live streams, and moderate live chats. All live interactions must comply with Community Guidelines.

10. User-Generated Content (UGC) & Zero Tolerance Policy

EDEN maintains a strict, zero-tolerance policy against objectionable content and abusive users. Users must not upload, share, or promote content that:

• Contains hate speech, harassment, grooming, or abuse.
• Is sexually explicit, pornographic, or excessively violent.
• Infringes upon intellectual property rights, engages in fraud, or impersonation.
• Directly opposes EDEN’s core Christian doctrinal standards and values.

Non-Christian users may consume content freely but may not promote content that directly opposes EDEN’s Christian doctrinal standards.

To ensure a safe environment, EDEN provides the following systems:

• Content Filtering: Automated and manual moderation systems are in place to actively filter and prevent objectionable content from being published.
• Reporting: Users can flag and report inappropriate content or abusive behavior at any time using the "Report" feature within the app. All reports are reviewed by our moderation team within 24 hours.
• Blocking: Users have the ability to immediately block abusive users. Blocking a user will hide their content from your feed and restrict them from interacting with you.

11. Content Moderation, DMCA Compliance & Repeat Infringer Policy

EDEN operates a proactive moderation and strike-based enforcement system. However, for severe violations (such as posting sexually explicit, violent, or abusive content), the offending content will be removed immediately and the user account will be permanently suspended without prior notice.

12. Theological Alignment Policy

As a private faith-based platform, EDEN curates content based on doctrinal alignment. Administrators and the Board determine faith consistency. Content misaligned with the Platform’s Christian values may be removed. Channels may be terminated for theological misalignment. This editorial discretion is a core operational principle of EDEN.

13. Intellectual Property

All platform software, branding, layout, and design are owned by The Kingdom Country Entertainment Company Ltd. EDEN™ is a registered trademark in Nigeria. Unauthorized use of trademarks is prohibited. Users retain ownership of their comments and submissions but grant EDEN a non-exclusive license to display them.

14. Data & Privacy

We collect demographic information, usage data, watch history, and interaction behavior. Data may be used to personalize recommendations, improve services, and serve ads. Data may be shared in anonymized form with advertising partners.

15. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts without notice for policy violations, failed payments, theological misalignment, or legal compliance. Users may delete accounts at any time. Upon termination, access ends immediately, offline content becomes inaccessible, and data may be retained for legal purposes.

17. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted service. Use is at your own risk.

18. Limitation of Liability

Liability is capped at the amount paid by you in the preceding 12 months. We are not liable for indirect damages, consequential damages, loss of data, service outages, or donation disputes.

19. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company from claims arising from your content, your conduct, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of third-party rights.

20. Arbitration & Dispute Resolution

All disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration in Nigeria under Rules of the Lagos Court of Arbitration, consistent with UNCITRAL principles. Key terms: Single arbitrator, English language, Seat: Nigeria. Class-action waiver applies.

21. Class Action Waiver

You waive the right to participate in class, consolidated, or representative actions. All claims must be brought individually.

22. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance.

23. Miscellaneous

Governing Law: Federal Republic of Nigeria. Severability: Invalid provisions do not affect others. Force Majeure: We are not liable for events beyond our control. Assignment: We may assign these Terms without notice.
